“Being a mother, you are supposed to be warm and fuzzy.

You are supposed to be a soft space for which your children can land and know that they are loved and cared for.

Being a mother, you are told to be these things, but you need to be strong.

Strong enough to help your children through all aspects of their lives from newborns through to adulthood.

You need to be soft and strong.

You need to be strong but willing to change.

Mothers need to be so many things all at the same time.

‘Bubbles’ represents the softness and strength of motherhood - wool roving intertwined with the copper - strong, yet malleable to change.”
