It seems as if at almost every turn of life there is something that is challenging us to question our options and whether or not we are making the right choice. 

After 24 hours of considering the options- a decision was made. What may have worked for one may not work for the other. The weight of this decision was equally shared amongst the team of care Kerri had the day Brian was born. 

The second I took this shot of Kerri’s doctor standing looking into the OR, in my heart at that exact moment I knew I found my hero shot that summed up the day...for their story and Dr. Perkes’.

I know I speak for Kerri, Chris and Brian, there wasn’t one bad decision made in the making. Perkes, thank you for the love you deeply give and for catching one of the most beautiful decisions ever made.
